Line Spacing vs. Paragraph Spacing

• Line Spacing: The vertical space between individual lines of text within the same paragraph.
• Paragraph Spacing: The breathing room placed above (Before) or below (After) a paragraph when you hit Enter.

Configuring Space Before & After

Never hit Enter twice between paragraphs! Instead:

The Soft Break (Shift + Enter)

When writing bullet points or addresses, pressing Enter starts a new paragraph and applies the "Space After" gap.

• If you want to drop to the next line without creating a new paragraph or spacing gap, press Shift + Enter (Line Break / Soft Break).
• This is especially helpful in postal addresses where street, city, and pin code should stay tightly grouped.
