In this project, you will combine table formatting, formula calculations, and Mail Merge automation to generate hundreds of professional, personalized customer billing invoices from an external Excel database.
Step 1: Preparing the Excel Billing Database (BillingData.xlsx)
Create an Excel spreadsheet with clean headers:
Invoice_No,Customer_Name,Company,Billing_Address,Course_Title,Duration,Amount,Tax,Total_Due,Due_Date.- Save and close Excel.
Step 2: Designing the Professional Invoice Layout
- 1Open a new Word document. Set Margins to Narrow ($0.5\text{ in}$).

Step 5: Connecting the Data Source & Preview

Step 6: Batch Generation
Click Finish & Merge > Edit Individual Documents to generate all invoices into a single multi-page file ready for archiving, printing, or PDF emailing!
